Personal Statement

I am thrilled to be working alongside the incredible members of the Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medicine. I am especially committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit and to those with pulmonary disease in our outpatient clinic, all while maintaining a holistic approach that is both patient- and family-centered. My primary clinical interest lies in the management of non-invasive and invasive mechanical ventilation in patients suffering from chronic respiratory failure, including those with neuromuscular disease.

Throughout my academic career, I have developed a particularly strong commitment to the education and professional development of medical students and resident physicians, with a particular interest in bedside teaching, procedural education, curriculum development, and simulation-based education. My research interests include high-altitude physiology in patients with pulmonary disease, as well as understanding and improving medical student experiences in the intensive care unit.
