About Evelyn Hastings Orlando, M.D.
I am dedicated to providing patient-centered cancer care that combines the best available, evidence-based therapies with individualized treatment plans that are tailored to each patient’s unique situation. Cancer biology and cancer treatment are complex; I prioritize taking the time to fully explain test results and potential treatment plans to provide my patients with the information needed to understand their condition and the full spectrum of treatment options available to them. It is my mission to ensure that my patients feel optimally supported by their care team throughout their lymphoma treatment and in the years that follow.
Dr. Orlando practices within the Weill Cornell Medicine Lymphoma Program, where she specializes in caring for patients with various types of lymphoma. Dr. Orlando is an active clinical researcher, with a focus on Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-associated lymphomas. She also has a special interest in research to improve outcomes in patients with lymphoma that arises after organ transplantation (post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder). Dr. Orlando has contributed to numerous research publications and has presented research at several international meetings. She has participated in prestigious research training programs including the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) Scientific Research Mentoring Program and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) / American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Methods in Clinical Cancer Research Workshop.
