Biographical Info

Dr. Lee Gottesdiener specializes in providing infectious disease care for patients who are immunocompromised, including those who have received solid organ transplantation or hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.

He received his undergraduate education from Wesleyan University and acquired his M.D. from Weill Cornell Medical College. He then completed both his internal medicine residency and infectious diseases fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Gottesdiener also holds his master’s degree in Clinical and Translational Investigation from Weill Cornell Medical College. His research interests include antimicrobial resistance and the prevention and treatment of bacterial diseases in patients who are immunocompromised.
