About Yotam Arens, M.D.
Dr. Yotam Arens serves as a primary care physician at the Center for Special Studies, where he provides care for people with HIV, as well as PrEP and sexual health care with a focus on LGBTQ medicine. Dr. Arens is also an attending physician on the inpatient Infectious Disease consult service. Dr. Arens's clinical research is focused on the syndemics of HIV, Hepatitis C virus, and sexually transmitted infections. He has a passion for medical education and serves as the director of the HIV Medicine and Prevention elective for Weill Cornell Medical College students.
Dr. Arens received his B.S. in Biology and Society from Cornell University and graduated from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He completed both his Internal Medicine residency and Infectious Disease fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in 2023. He is currently completing his M.S. in Clinical Epidemiology, also from the University of Pennsylvania.
