Personal Statement

I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in women’s behavioral health and reproductive and perinatal mental health. My clinical work is grounded in a trauma-informed, relational approach, and I strive to create a collaborative and supportive therapeutic environment where patients feel safe, understood and empowered in their care.

I was drawn to this subspecialty through extensive clinical and research training focused on the psychological impact of reproductive transitions, including pregnancy, the postpartum period, fertility-related challenges and the menopausal transition. I find it deeply meaningful to support individuals as they navigate complex emotional experiences during periods of vulnerability, change and loss, and I value working within an academic medical setting that integrates evidence-based care and interdisciplinary collaboration.
