Personal Statement

I chose to become a nurse practitioner to embolden children and families to advocate for themselves throughout their health and wellness journey. I am inspired by long-term relationship building, promoting open communication within the family unit, and teaching children how to cope with stress and emotional tolls. It is a privilege to witness children grow and develop into autonomous, self-regulating, confident human beings who feel equipped to navigate life’s challenges. I am passionate about health advocacy, education, and individualized, shared decision making to ensure patients feel capable in their pursuit of wellbeing.
