Biographical Info

Dr. Kristina Ericksen completed her medical degree at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by her pediatric residency at Nassau University Medical Center. She then continued her subspecialty training in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center where she was elected Chief fellow for the duration of her third year of training. Upon completion of her fellowship, Dr. Ericksen became passionate about helping her local community and worked as a neonatologist for a medically underserved population in Brooklyn, New York. As a neonatologist she is trained in utilization of high frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, and therapeutic whole-body cooling. Her research interests include oxygen delivery and transfusion practices for extremely low birth weight infants. She has served on the executive committee for the Brooklyn Pediatric Society since 2023 and is board-certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and Pediatric Medicine.
