About Melissa Siegman, L.C.S.W
Melissa Siegman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Perinatal Wellness Program in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medical Center. Ms. Siegman brings extensive experience in hospital-based social work, case management, and psychotherapy. She provides comprehensive emotional and practical support to patients as they navigate the perinatal period. Drawing from an integrative, patient-centered approach, she works collaboratively with patients and the care team to promote well-being and resilience.
Melissa Siegman earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Towson University and has a master's degree in social work from the NYU Silver School of Social Work. Prior to joining the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ms. Siegman worked as an inpatient social worker at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell. She has treated patients for a wide range of psychiatric disorders in various clinical settings. She has experience conducting psychotherapy as well as providing care coordination services.
