About Cheryl Fandozzi, MBSR
I am a mindfulness meditation and yoga instructor. I found my way to yoga and meditation in my early 30s. I had always enjoyed exercising and thought that yoga would be a good addition to my fitness regimen. However, after just a couple of months of dedicated practice, I realized that it was more than just a workout. I felt grounded and more at ease in my personal and professional life, so much so that even my colleagues seemed to notice a change. By setting aside time each week to step out of my usual mode of busyness and step into myself, the calm and centeredness I was cultivating in the practice showed up to support me in other aspects of my life, especially during difficult times. In this way, these practices have been profoundly transformational for me and I'm grateful for the opportunity to share what I've learned with others. Whether we carve out space in our day for meditation or we are simply going about our daily lives, the practice of mindfulness invites us to cultivate present-moment awareness and, most importantly, meet ourselves and our experiences with kindness and curiosity. My teaching is inspired by my own personal journey and ongoing studies. I offer a straightforward approach to these ancient practices, supporting both newcomers as well as long-time practitioners.
