About Rutika J Mehta, M.B., B.S.
After my formal medical training, I left my home country to come to the United States in hopes of better education and training in the field. I was fortunate to meet several mentors who were nationally renowned scientists and physicians who helped expose me to the specialty area of oncology. Several of my life experiences over a span of almost a decade helped me realize my true calling to gastrointestinal oncology. I have been fortunate to work with some great minds across diverse disciplines such as oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, thoracic surgery, pathology and radiology. As a gastrointestinal (GI) medical oncologist, I look forward to caring for the different needs of patients and offer cutting-edge treatments for people with esophageal, gastric, liver, pancreatic, small bowel and colorectal cancers.
