Biographical Info

Michael Battista is a certified Nurse Practitioner under the guidance and mentorship of Dr. Michael Lin at the Alzheimer’s Disease & Memory Disorders Program. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree at Rutgers University School of Nursing and his Master of Science Degree at Pace University Lienhard School of Nursing. Michael began his career in Neuro Critical Care at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell, providing specialty care for patients with a multitude of neurocritical conditions and neurosurgical needs including stroke, acute status epileptics, and implantable neurological devices.

He believes that his background in managing patients with high-risk brain conditions has given him a solid foundation upon which to build proficiency in managing those with Alzheimer’s Disease, those looking to reduce their risks for Alzheimer’s Disease, and those seeking to optimize brain health overall. Michael is a certified CCRN and a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. He aims to create long-lasting and meaningful relationships with his patients built on individualized care, compassion, and understanding.
