About Carolyn Kloepping, M.D.
I am an interventional pain management physician specializing in the comprehensive assessment and treatment of chronic pain conditions, such as low back pain, sciatica, neck pain, joint pain, and pelvic pain. By utilizing non-opioid medications, physical therapy, and minimally invasive procedures (epidural injections, peripheral nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, neuromodulation) we are able to target the source of a patient’s pain, and improve their function and quality of life. I work collaboratively with our surgical colleagues and non-surgical subspecialists at Cornell to ensure patients have a comprehensive team caring for them.
Dr. Kloepping is a double board-certified Anesthesiologist and Pain Medicine physician. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Psychology at Rutgers University. She received her medical degree from Rutgers - UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and completed her Anesthesiology residency and Pain Management fellowship at Rutgers - UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the New York Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
