About Zhenzhen Shi, M.D.
I am an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Psychiatrist in the Emergency Department at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. I specialize in Adult Psychiatry and provide comprehensive mental health evaluations and consultations as both a psychotherapist and a psychopharmacologist. I take an integrative approach to mental health with the goal of optimizing my patient's overall well-being.
Dr. Shi received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Tulane University. She received her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College, where she was awarded the Oskar Diethelm Prize for Excellence in Psychiatry. Dr. Shi completed her Adult Psychiatry Residency training at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine, where she was selected as Chief Resident in her final year of residency. Dr. Shi was the recipient of a Teaching Award from the Department of Psychiatry, which recognizes one graduating resident for outstanding teaching and mentorship of medical students. Dr. Shi welcomes new patients into her practice for consultations, psychotherapy, diagnostic evaluations, and medication management.
