About Emily Ahn, M.D.
I am proud to work with the multi-disciplinary team at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center as a neonatologist to provide exceptional care to the most vulnerable patients and their families. I have a special interest in translating this care to low-resource settings in order to reduce neonatal mortality globally.
Dr. Ahn is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital. She received her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed her pediatric residency at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s. Dr. Ahn completed her fellowship in Perinatal-Neonatal Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian-Weill Cornell.
Dr. Ahn’s research interests include strategies for reduction of neonatal morbidity and mortality in low resource settings. She has conducted projects focused on neonatal resuscitation and early NICU care in South Africa and Tanzania. Additionally, she is a member of the American Board of Pediatrics’ Global Neonatal Advisory Committee as a Content Expert.
