Personal Statement

Medicine is an ever-changing field. However, as research and clinical experiences broaden our understanding of it, one element should remain constant: the personalized, compassionate care that patients deserve. My philosophy of the practice of the science and art of medicine is simple: I treat each of my patients as I would treat a member of my own family. That entails providing the best care possible, supported by the latest evidence-based guidelines and practices, and more important, delivered in a holistic, caring, and professional manner. My personal approach to medicine involves collaborating with other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients with complex surgical and medical needs are best supported throughout the various stages of their healing and recovery.
