Personal Statement

I am currently working as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Psychiatrist at the Center for Special Studies at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. I specialize in providing collaborative care to patients with HIV/AIDS, with a special focus on the interface between mental health, medical/surgical health and substance-related comorbidities. Given the intricate nature of mental health treatment, I tailor my evaluations and treatment to each patient's specific needs through psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. My clinical interests include consultation-liaison psychiatry, public health psychiatry, LGBTQIA+ mental health, addiction psychiatry and psychotherapy. I am available for in-person and virtual appointments.
