Biographical Info

Michelle Roytman, M.D is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine and Assistant Attending Radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. She is fellowship-trained in Neuroradiology and a member of the Neuroradiology and Emergency Imaging divisions.

Dr. Roytman graduated from Johns Hopkins University, where she earned her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering in 2011. She then received her M.D. from New York Medical College in 2015 and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) medical honor society in 2014.

Dr. Roytman completed an Internal Medicine internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City in 2016, where she received the Outstanding Preliminary Intern of the Year award. Dr. Roytman then completed her Diagnostic Radiology residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in 2020, during which she was elected and served as Chief Resident. She received the Robert D. Zimmerman, MD Outstanding Educator and RSNA Roentgen Resident Research Awards in 2020 as well as grant funding from the Radiologic Society of North America Research & Education Foundation in 2019-2020. She completed a Neuroradiology fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medicine in 2020 and joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology in September 2021.

Dr. Roytman's clinical expertise is in Neuroradiology. She interprets avariety of imaging studies, including x-rays, CTs, MRIs and ultrasounds, as well as performs a variety of image-guided neuro-interventional procedures. Dr. Roytman serves as a peer reviewer for radiology journals and is a member of various radiological societies, including the American Society of Neuroradiology, Radiological Society of North America, and American College of Radiology. In addition to her clinical and research activities, Dr. Roytman is an active mentor and teacher of medical students, residents, and fellows.
