Biographical Info

Dr. Yeung received her undergraduate degree from Barnard College, Columbia University and graduated with her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She then completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell.  

Her clinical and research interest centers around insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, and metabolic syndrome. She has a special interest in the intersection of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and type 2 diabetes. Dr. Yeung has additional roles in medical education and quality improvement, serving as the Co-Chair of Endocrine Grand Rounds and a committee member on the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Committee.
