Personal Statement

Welcome! Every child deserves an eye exam that works for them, and that takes patience, curiosity, and time. I care for infants, children, and teens, including many with autism, developmental differences, or other complex needs, and I build each visit around the child in front of me and the family beside them. Families of all backgrounds are welcome in my office.

I believe good care comes from both education and experience. I have spent my career teaching and mentoring the next generation of optometrists, and lecturing to colleagues around the world, which keeps me current on the latest approaches to myopia management, binocular vision, and pediatric eye disease. I offer comprehensive pediatric eye exams and evaluation and treatment of strabismus, amblyopia, and other binocular vision problems. I also care for children with ocular pathology and the visual effects of concussion, and I see patients in Spanish. I am honored that you would trust me with your child's vision, and I look forward to meeting you.
