Personal Statement

I am a licensed clinical social worker with expertise in evidence-based interventions for children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy for a wide array of presenting problems, including anxiety, mood disorders, and behavioral difficulties. 

Biographical Info

Ms. Muravina completed her Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature at Brandeis University and earned her master's degree in social work from Yeshiva University. Prior to joining the Department of Psychiatry, Ms. Muravina worked in a variety of outpatient behavioral health and primary care settings and was on the Behavioral Science Faculty in the Department of Family Medicine at BronxCare Health System. Ms. Muravina has completed extensive postgraduate training in cognitive behavioral therapy through the Beck Institute.
