Biographical Info

Maria Hanna M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine. She is a board-certified radiologist and a member of the Emergency Imaging division. 

Dr. Hanna earned her M.D. from Morehouse School of Medicine in 2012. She completed an internship in General Surgery at the University of San Francisco in Oakland, California. She then completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at Presence Health Saint Francis in Evanston, IL, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. She completed her fellowship in neuroradiology at the Mount Sinai Hospital Icahn School of Medicine in New York, NY. 

Dr. Hanna was recruited to join the full-time faculty at Weill Cornell-Medicine in the Department of Radiology after completing her fellowship. Dr. Hanna has developed clinical expertise in emergency imaging and performs a wide variety of exams in MRI, CT, ultrasound, and X-ray.
