Biographical Info

Dr. Margaret Huynh is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Weill Cornell Medical College. She is an attending neurointensivist and neurologist at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and New York-Presbyterian Queens. Dr. Huynh is board-certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is specialized to diagnose and treat severe neurological injuries in the intensive care setting including, but not limited to traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, neuromuscular disorders, meningitis, encephalitis, subarachnoid hemorrhage, stroke, seizures, and anoxic brain injury.

Dr. Huynh graduated Magna Cum Laude from Syracuse University where she earned Bachelor of Sciences in Biology and Psychology. She received her medical degree from Midwestern University in Chicago as a member of the Sigma Sigma Phi Honors Society. She then completed Neurology residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where she served as Chief Resident. She returned to the east coast, completing a Neurocritical Care fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. There, she was recognized for her compassionate patient care.

Dr. Huynh has clinical expertise in advanced multimodal neurologic monitoring in the intensive care unit (ICU) and has a special interest in critical care neurophysiology. She is a member of the Neurocritical Care Society, Society for Critical Care Medicine, and the American Academy of Neurology.
