Personal Statement

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in evidence-based interventions for children, adolescents, and young adults suffering from anxiety, OCD, and mood disorders. As a member of the Weill Cornell Pediatric OCD, Anxiety, and Tic Disorders (POCAT) Program, I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and parent-based treatments, including Parent Management Training (PMT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE). I have a particular focus on providing Early Childhood Services (ages 2-8) for children with anxiety and selective mutism, in addition to providing CBT and ERP for children and adolescents with anxiety and/or OCD. Within my faculty practice, I offer a variety of clinical services including diagnostic assessments, consultations, and individual, parent-based, group, and intensive psychotherapy. In my research, I largely focus on developing and evaluating the efficacy of intensive group behavioral treatments for anxiety disorders, particularly selective mutism, and examining the role of family accommodation in anxiety treatment outcomes.
