Lauren Brown, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. She practices general otolaryngology, including adults and children. Dr. Brown prioritizes patient education and shared decision making in order to provide personalized care for each individual.

Biographical Info

Dr. Brown graduated from Harvard College with a B.A. in Neurobiology. She received her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed internship and residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at New York Presbyterian Columbia and Cornell.

Dr. Brown’s general otolaryngology practice includes adults and children. Her clinical interests cover a broad range of disorders affecting the ears, nose, throat, as well as the head and neck. These issues include, but are not limited to the following:

·         Nasal obstruction and congestion

·         Rhinitis

·         Sinusitis

·         Hearing loss

·         Ear infections

·         Tonsil and adenoid disease

·         Obstructive sleep apnea

·         Voice and swallowing disorders

·         Salivary gland disease

·         Benign growths of the head and neck

Dr. Brown sees patients at the Weill Cornell Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery offices at 1305 York Avenue on 70th street and at New York Presbyterian Medical Group Brooklyn at 38 6th Avenue behind the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
