Personal Statement

I am passionate about preventive medicine and helping my patients take an active role in their metabolic and overall health. I am particularly interested in identifying and addressing cardiovascular risk in patients with diabetes, dyslipidemia, and other metabolic conditions, with the goal of preventing cardiovascular disease before it occurs. I also provide gender-affirming care and strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their health and individual goals. I enjoy building long-term relationships with my patients and getting to know them over time, allowing us to work together to manage chronic conditions, reduce future health risks, and promote well-being throughout their lives.
