Personal Statement

Konstantin Kharition, DO is a Professor of Clinical Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine as well as an Acute, Trauma and Critical Care Surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens.   

Dr. Khariton received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from State University of New York at Geneseo. He obtained his Medical degree at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and, graduated as doctor of Oseopthaphy, Member of Surgery Club, and Sigma Sigma Phi national osteopathic medicine honors fraternity. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Staten Island University Hospital, Northwell Health where he received the Citizenship Award for exemplifying commitment to community service and leadership. Dr Khairton has completed his Fellowship in Trauma and Surgical Critical Care at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.

Dr. Khariton is a resident member of the American College of Surgeons, Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma and the Society for Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Khariton has presented his work at multiple national conferences and has published on a wide range of topics, including the MILLER banding procedure, treatment of finger ischemia in matured radio cephalic AVF, Ultrasound Guided Percutaneous Thrombin Injection of Common Cartid Pseudo aneurysm, and flow interruption of distal artery.
