Personal Statement

I am privileged to bring my dedication to patient care and expertise to the people of New York at Weill Cornell Medicine. My passion for medicine stems from a deep love for people and community, and I am committed to providing care that fosters collaboration, ensuring my patients feel heard and valued as integral members of their care team. Specializing in ophthalmology allows me the unique opportunity to significantly impact my patients’ lives through enhancing eye health, comfort, and vision.

In addition to my clinical work, I am deeply committed to teaching and mentoring future generations of healthcare providers. I am particularly passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives that inspire and support students from diverse backgrounds to pursue careers in medicine. By honoring and celebrating the representation of various communities and cultures within the healthcare workforce, we significantly enhance the quality of care we provide to our patients.
