Dr. Kavita Gupta is a fellowship-trained Endourologist, who serves as an Assistant Professor of Urology at Weill Cornell Medicine and at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She completed the two-year esteemed endourology fellowship at Mount Sinai with Mantu Gupta, M.D. in New York City.

Dr. Gupta specializes in cutting-edge procedures for complex kidney stone disease such as supine percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), mini-PCNL, Endoscopic Combined Intrarenal Surgery (ECIRS) and Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery (RIRS). Her approach goes beyond surgery; she is committed to the holistic, long-term health of her patients. She uses her expertise in the medical management of kidney stone disease to create personalized treatment plans for each individual.

A dedicated researcher, Dr. Gupta has been honored with prestigious awards, such as the 2023-2024 Olympus Endourology Fellow’s Scholarship and the Ferdinand C. Valentine Fellowship Award. Her research focuses on improving patient care by advancing surgical technologies, leveraging computer vision to enhance kidney stone surgery outcomes, and developing new technologies to minimize renal damage during endourological procedures.
