Personal Statement

As a nurse practitioner, I feel passionate about bridging the gap in healthcare and improving access to care for communities. My background in obstetrical nursing has reinforced my commitment and enthusiasm for women’s health. Fostering relationships with my patients, rooted in trust, advocacy, and safety is of the utmost importance to me. I am proud to offer comprehensive gynecological care across the lifespan at such a widely renowned academic institution.

Biographical Info

Katherine is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, who provides general gynecological care at Weill Cornell Medicine. Katherine graduated in 2018 from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Katherine’s nursing career began at NewYork-Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center on a medical-surgical unit. After establishing a foundation of skills in patient-centered care, she honored her passion for women’s health and transferred to the NewYork-Presbyterian Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns. As a labor and delivery nurse, Katherine has had the privilege to support women in their most cheerful state and grieve in their most vulnerable moments. In 2023, Katherine graduated from Pace University with her master’s degree in nursing, being awarded the Outstanding Academic Achievement and Professional Potential Award for the graduate class. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
