Personal Statement

I am a physician-scientist who is passionate about improving the ways we treat lung cancer. Through my research, I aim to improve our understanding of how lung tumors interact with the immune system. My goal is to use this knowledge to improve existing cancer therapies and identify new treatment strategies. In my clinic, I strive to individualize treatment plans to match the needs and values of each patient. I understand how complex a new diagnosis of cancer can be, and I aim to provide the utmost support to my patients and their families throughout every step of this process.
