About Jessica Karanikolos, N.P.
The best care begins with listening and making sure every patient and family feels heard, supported, and comfortable asking questions. My background in oncology and pain management has shaped a compassionate, whole-person approach to care and an understanding of how illness can affect life beyond a diagnosis. I enjoy building lasting relationships with my patients, helping them understand their condition, and feel confident taking an active role in their care. I especially value caring for patients through different stages of life and being a familiar, trusted member of their healthcare team. At Weill Cornell Medicine, I’m proud to bring my experience to hematology and work alongside a dedicated team providing thoughtful, individualized care.
Jessica Karanikolos, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Weill Cornell Medicine and New York-Presbyterian. She brings more than seven years of experience from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she developed expertise in oncology care, with a special focus on complex pain and symptom management. She earned her MSN from Chamberlain University and is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Jessica cares for children and adults with hematologic conditions, with clinical interests in sickle cell disease, thalassemia, hemoglobinopathies, red blood cell disorders, transfusion therapy, and pain management. She also participates in clinical research, with a particular interest in inherited blood disorders and emerging therapies that have the potential to shape treatment, improve patient outcomes, and enhance quality of life.
