Personal Statement

As Director of the Pediatric Advanced Care Team (PACT), my goal is to help children facing serious illness and their families live their fullest lives. We focus on high-quality multimodal symptom management, and support families with complex decision-making along a child's medical journey. This interdisciplinary approach affords me the opportunity to work closely with my physician, nursing, social work, child life, chaplaincy, and mental health colleagues. Together, we identify and implement care that aligns with families’ goals and values.

I am also a pediatric critical care physician, and am privileged to care for critically ill children admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and their families.
