About Hoon Lee, M.D.
Dr. Hoon Lee is a board-certified radiation oncologist with over 20 years of clinical and research experience. He earned his undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley and his medical degree from The George Washington University. He completed his residency at MD Anderson Cancer Center, receiving multiple research awards. Dr. Lee has served as a principal and sub-principal investigator in clinical trials focused on advanced treatments for head and neck cancers and contributed to the ACR Appropriateness Criteria Expert Panel for lung cancer. He has an extensive record of publications and presentations, particularly in lung, esophageal, and prostate cancers. He is an active member of ASTRO, ASCO, and the AMA. Outside of medicine, he is an accomplished violinist and enjoys playing tennis and golf.
