Biographical Info

Dr. Hansen Lam received his Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University in 2013. After which, he received his M.D. degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in 2018. He then pursued a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from 2018 to 2022. He then completed a fellowship in Cytopathology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2023. Following this fellowship, he finished his post-doctoral training as a clinical fellow in oncological surgical pathology from the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2024. He is boarded in anatomic and clinical pathology (2022) and Cytopathology (2023). He has joined the Cytopathology/Surgical Autopsy divisionof our department.
