Biographical Info

Hannah Kim, M.D. M.H.S., is a pediatric nephrologist and assistant professor of pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine, and an assistant attending pediatrician at NewYork-Presbyterian Komansky Children's Hospital.

Dr. Kim graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia and an M.D. from the Medical College of Virginia. She completed her pediatric residency training at the Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. , followed by fellowship training in pediatric nephrology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, M.D. Prior to joining the faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine, Dr. Kim practiced for several years in Pennsylvania at Penn State Children’s Hospital. Her clinical interests include the management of chronic kidney disease progression and end-stage kidney disease with a particular interest in dialysis.

Dr. Kim is also an epidemiologist with a master’s degree in epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, M.D. Her previous research has focused on puberty in children with chronic kidney disease and the role of sex hormones on disease progression.
