Personal Statement

My inspiration to become a doctor was my childhood family General Practitioner, who took care of all three generations of my family.  I learned from him that being a good doctor meant caring for the entire patient and not just treating an illness.  During my many years of practice, I have always strived to integrate this philosophy into patient care.   With that in mind, I hope to make all my patients comfortable and at ease with me whether it be their initial appointment or one of many follow-up visits. I feel that once I am able to have a meaningful dialogue with a patient, I can optimally integrate tried and true medical practices with cutting-edge medical and scientific knowledge. This approach is crucial not only for diagnostic and therapeutic decisions but also preventative care. I consider it a privilege and an honor to take care of my patients and I am thrilled that after all these years I get to take care of multiple generations in a family.
