Personal Statement

I am very excited to be a part of the Weill Cornell Medicine faculty as a member of the Division of Gastroenterology. I am joining the DIGEST (Dedicated Integrated GastroESophageal Treatment) program, which specializes in a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the esophagus and stomach. My clinical practice will focus on these conditions, including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Barrett’s esophagus, eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), and esophageal motility disorders. My research interests include medical and surgical management of patients with motility and swallowing disorders, treatment and monitoring of eosinophilic esophagitis, and improvement of screening for Barrett's esophagus and esophageal cancer. I am involved in clinical trials related to these areas. Above all, I am dedicated to providing thoughtful, individualized, and comprehensive care for my patients by incorporating the latest advances and research in the field.
