Dr. Felicia A. Mendelsohn Curanaj currently serves as Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Weill Cornell Medical College and Attending Endocrinologist at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital.  She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a broad spectrum of disorders of the endocrine system.  She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Diplomate in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.  Dr. Mendelsohn is also a Certified Menopause Practitioner recognized by the North American Menopause Society, which signifies her advanced skill and experience in the treatment of menopause and related conditions. 

Dr. Mendelsohn received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and graduated with her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.  She then completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine.  To further her knowledge and training, Dr. Mendelsohn completed a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at New York University Medical Center, and was a Women’s Health Scholar and Associate Research Scientist at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.  She has received numerous awards throughout her career, including the Chief Resident Recognition Award at Yale University and the Physical Diagnosis Teaching Award at New York University.  

Dr. Mendelsohn’s work has appeared in numerous publications and presentations regarding developments in the field of endocrinology and women’s health.  Dr. Mendelsohn has also donated her time and services to those in need though medical mission trips in Africa and volunteer services at local hospitals.  She served as a Yale/Johnson & Johnson Physician Scholar in International Health. 

Dr.Mendelsohn practices Endocrinology at Primary Care's practice at 2315 Broadway at 84th Street two days per week (Monday And Tuesday), and see patients in the Endocrinology Division practices the remainder of the week.
