Personal Statement

I am an academic Internal Medicine physician practicing comprehensive primary care and hospital medicine. My expertise in primary care includes evidence-based preventative health and chronic disease management for patients aged 18 and older, and coordination of care for medically complex patients. I value developing long-term relationships with my patients to help them reach their health goals and to be as healthy as possible. I believe that healthcare is a human right and that it requires a whole-person approach. My academic interests focus on health policy, community health, community health workers, and social care.
