Personal Statement

I am a psychiatrist and addiction specialist practicing in Manhattan. I work mainly at the Center for Special Studies, Weill Cornell Medicine’s clinic for people living with HIV. My clinical interests include general adult psychiatry, substance use, LGBTQ mental health and psychotherapy.

Biographical Info

Dr. Hankins graduated from Dartmouth College and worked in education for several years before attending medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. He completed psychiatry residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine, where he was chief resident and an addiction psychiatry fellow at New York University.
