About Dan Benenson, M.D.
As a pulmonary and critical care physician, I strive to combine evidence-based medicine with thoughtful and compassionate care. Critical illness can be overwhelming for patients and families, and I consider it a privilege to guide them through these challenging moments while working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
Dr. Benenson is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine and an attending physician in the Medical Intensive Care Unit and the Inpatient Pulmonary Consultation Service at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College and completed both his residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Benenson's clinical and academic interests include critical care echocardiography, airway management, pulmonary embolism, applied physiology, and medical education. He is committed to the education and mentorship of trainees and is actively involved in the care of critically ill patients with complex cardiopulmonary disease.
