Personal Statement

I have always dreamt about being a pediatrician and was particularly drawn to primary care because of the opportunities to have continuity of care, promote preventative medicine, provide patient education, and build lasting relationships with patients and families. I am deeply committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that supports children’s health and development. I have a strong interest in newborn medicine and believe in the power of preventative care and anticipatory guidance to promote lifelong wellness. I believe that building strong, trusting relationships with parents and caregivers is essential to delivering the highest quality care and ensuring each child has the foundation for a healthy future.
