Biographical Info

Dr. Catherine Hennessey is an obstetrician-gynecologist and complex family planning specialist. She specializes in contraception for people with complex medical problems, medical and procedural abortion, and early pregnancy loss. She cares for all people in need of gynecologic care and strives to provide accessible, patient-centered reproductive healthcare. Dr. Hennessey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medical Center. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Washington and her medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed residency training at The George Washington University and fellowship in complex family planning at the University of Chicago, where she also earned her Master of Science in Public Health Sciences.
