About Arathi Nandyala, M.D.
Dr. Nandyala is a headache specialist, who seeks to de-stigmatize headache disorders for her patients. She works with her patients to create individualized, multi-disciplinary plans with a combination of pharmacologicand non-pharmacologic treatment options that best align with their goals. She strives to empower her patients with the appropriate tools to manage their neurologic disorder and collaborates with other providers in various departments to help optimize care for her patients. Her primary areas of interest include migraine, cluster headaches, tension headaches, post-traumatic headaches, occipital neuralgia, and CSF leaks. She also has a particular interest in women’s health and migraine. She offers a wide variety of treatment options including peripheral nerve block injections, botulinum toxin injections for chronic migraine, and neuromodulation devices.
Dr. Nandyala is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at Weill Cornell Medicine, specializing in Headache Medicine. She earned her medical degree fromthe University of South Florida. She then completed her neurology residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, where she served as chief resident during her final year. Subsequently, she completed her fellowship training in headache and facial pain at Stanford University.
She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Nandyala is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Headache Society. Dr. Nandyala has published in several peer-reviewed journals including Headache and Current Neurology and Neuroscience Reports. She also currently serves as an assistant editor of the journal, Headache, the official journal of the American Headache Society.
