About April Gulotti, PA-C
My passion is to empower women to take control of their health through compassionate care and education. I believe in building relationships with my patients so every woman feels heard and supported.
April Gulotti is a committed healthcare professional and humanitarian with a diverse background in women’s health and global development. She earned her undergraduate degree in Health Professions and Related Clinical Sciences from the University of Delaware. After graduation, April spent a year in South America and Africa working for a non-profit organization aimed towards providing access to free healthcare to underserved communities
April went on to complete her master’s degree at Pace University’s Physician Assistant program. Upon graduating, April began her career as an Obstetrics and Gynecology PA at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medicine, where she performed deliveries and cesarean sections, managed emergency situations, and provided comprehensive care for both routine and high-risk obstetric cases. Driven by a passion for education, April established the first formal OB/GYN ultrasound training series at NYP Weill Cornell. She also actively served on multiple committees focused on promoting high-quality, equitable care for patients.
Following the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, April expanded her efforts to a broader humanitarian goal by starting The Maji Movement, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing clean drinking water to families in the developing world. Her work in Tanzania involved the implementation of a sustainable water filtration program, which has since provided clean water access to over 500 families. April has shared her expertise as a guest speaker at universities and conferences, including the New York State Society of Physician Assistants and the American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants.
When April is not working, she loves to grab a coffee and read a good book or spend time outdoors with her husband and their puppy, Mango.
