Personal Statement

I feel privileged to work at an institution that allows me to care for patients in the operating room as an anesthesiologist and build long-lasting relationships with patients in the outpatient pain management setting. I understand the tremendous impact that chronic pain can have on an individual's well-being and overall quality of life. The complex nature of chronic pain necessitates an individualized approach to management. My goal is to provide an evidence-based, multi-modal approach to pain management that addresses the physical, psychological, and emotional aspects of pain.
