Personal Statement
My subspecialties of practice are Cytopathology and Gynecologic Pathology. My research focuses on the application of ancillary studies in detection of HPV-associated and HPV-unrelated lesions of the female lower genital tract and refinement of diagnostic criteria and quality assurance in gynecologic cytology. I am also interested in the refinement of cytologic criteria and the application of ancillary studies for the diagnosis of pancreatico-biliary lesions and the role of cytology in their management.
