About Milagros D. Silva, M.D.
I feel fortunate to have joined the Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. My interest in palliative care arose from seeing the great need to maximize quality of life and provide comprehensive symptom management for patients facing chronic illnesses. As faculty member of Weill Cornell Medicine, I have been able to provide multi-disciplinary, integrative and expert symptom management to patients and support for their families. Furthermore, I have focused my educational and research interests on improving the delivery of palliative care services to Limited English Proficient patients. My goal is to ensure excellence of care for the community that I serve.
Dr. Silva is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and an attending physician in the Division Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medicine.
