Biographical Info

Riya Goyal, M.D. is a radiologist specializing in Abdominal Imaging. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital-WeillCornell Campus.

Dr. Goyal attended Harvard College for her undergraduate degree, graduating in 2012 with a B.A. in Human Evolutionary Biology and minor in Global Health and Health Policy. She then received her M.D. at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell in 2018.

Following an internship at Plainview Hospital, Dr. Goyal completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Northwell Health at North Shore/LIJ in2023. After this, she completed her fellowship in Abdominal Imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2024.

Dr. Goyal joined the faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine in August 2024 as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology.
