Biographical Info

Dr. Ilonzo is an attending Vascular Surgeon at New York Presbyterian-Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, the Associate Program Director for the General Surgery residency and Assistant Professor of Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Ilonzo graduated from Dartmouth College and received her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. She completed her residency training at Mount Sinai St. Luke's Roosevelt and her Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Dr. Ilonzo is a leader in endovascular and surgical management of acute and chronic arterial and venous disease. She specializes in arterial atherectomy, balloon angioplasty and stent placement, surgical peripheral artery bypass, aortic aneurysm repairs, venous insufficiency and varicose veins, dialysis access placement and repair, and carotid artery disease.

She is a prolific author, having published 47 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals. She serves on numerous local and regional committees including the Medical Board Surgical Review Committee, the Eastern Vascular Society (EVS) Mentor Committee, and the EVS Diversity Committee.
